BISHOP MICHAEL CANION

Bishop Michael Canion, Sr. Pastor of the Assembly of Truth Ministries, is the father of two wonderful children, India Nichole and Christian Michael Canion, grandfather of beautiful twins' Lyric Nichole and Nikai Answorth and the husband of Dr. Tanda Joy Canion.

Bishop Canion is known as a preacher who has been ordained by God to preach the Gospel to liberate and encourage. He has embraced the mission to declare to God's people that we are special to God and that we can make it through the power of the Holy Ghost.

Bishop Canion is well seasoned in the word of God and brings a wealth of experience to the ministry of Truth and Outreach. He attended Dekalb College. He was later led to move his studies to Beulah Heights Bible College and graduated with a BA degree in Biblical Education.

Bishop Canion spends most of his time reading and studying the word of God faithfully. God has equipped him to be the aurthor of Satan Is In Sales, a book that deals with understanding and overcoming temptation. He has also authored the book, Things Every Christian Should Know, which will soon be published.

Bishop Canion's ministry at the Assembly of Truth Ministries began over twenty years ago in the living room of his mother's home. From that time to the present, Bishop Canion's ministry is about reaching out to the lost, restoration, salvation, and healing the down trodden and brokenhearted. Bishop Canion's ministry affords him the opportunity to reach and impact many lives. He believes in reaching out to the community. He has the compassion of a father and is extremely effective in ministering to the young people. His heart's desire is to snatch souls from Satan's kingdom and train men and women to be the best they can be through the power of the Holy Spirit and influence the kingdom of God in every way possible as God so directs Him. He is a living example of God's command, "If I be lifted up, I will draw all men unto me."
